The demand for foreign real estate online is growing rapidly

In the last few months, in Russia we have seen a rapid boost in traffic to foreign real estate sites. Keywords related to the real estate industry are becoming incredibly popular in search engines.

Obviously, this is due to an increase in demand for foreign real estate among the Russian-speaking audience, which has shown an unprecedented increase this year and continues to grow. The number of deals has increased over the past few months compared to the same period in 2021, the peak of demand fell at the end of September.

The most popular country for buying real estate and moving in 2022 is Turkey. Buyers from Russia, who concluded more than 1,000 deals in September, remain in first place among foreign customers of this country.

The UAE is in second place and Georgia is in third place. Buyers from Russia show almost the same interest in Kazakhstan. Russians are still looking for and buying real estate in Spain, Greece, Italy, France and Montenegro.

Most often, Russian clients are interested in one-bedroom apartments with an area of about 70 square meters. The cost of a liquid apartment now ranges from 250 to 470 thousand EUR, depending on the location. In second place are studio apartments without separate bedrooms, but they are very interesting and attractive just for tourists and holiday resorts. The cost of such apartments with an area of approximately 45 square meters ranges from 120 to 290 thousand EUR.

Previously, Russian buyers purchased real estate for personal purposes, but now they are interested in such additional services as obtaining a residence permit from another country or the ability to rent housing and earn income.
